Blogg: Lundi Pundi

Lundi Pundi är en ganska ny blogg (första anteckningen 24 februari). Taglinen för bloggen är A physics undergrad's view on matters at hand. Johan Hermansson presenterar sina intressen på följande sätt:

Among all the wonderful things in the world I truly find science (physics, math, cs, biology, ...), books (and some moving picture once in a while), martial arts, music (classical, ambient, psytrance, goa, techno), photography, art (Escher, Dali), philosophy, politics and tea (chai!) intriguing.

Det ska bli spännande att läsa om alla dessa saker.

Den senaste anteckningen var The longitude and the future of physics som bland annat rekommenderar en av mina gamla favoritböcker.

Knowledge should be -- or actually, it is -- valuable on its own.

Oh well, won't continue now, was just something I found interesting and striking... Though I will recommend you the wonderful collection called The World of Mathematics, editored by James Newman. In Sweden we also have a nice translation called Sigma. In a couple of volumes you'll find lots of great and easy reading by some top scientists through out history. They're cheap as well.

Uppdatering
Två korrigeringar: En av länkarna fixades så den går direkt till anteckningen och inte till månadssammanställningen. Sedan glömde jag ju nämna att det var Chadie som först tipsade mig om Lundi Pundi.
