Cross words

This program may help some cross word solvers. It shows all words which match a template with letters and unknowns. An unknown letter is coded as '_' (underscore) or '?'. The template must contain at least one real letter (i.e. not a '_').

E.g. the template "h_ll_" matches the English words: halls, hello, hells, hills, holly, hulls, and the Swedish words halls, hallå, hylla, hylle, hålla, hålls, hälla, hälld, hälls, hällt, hölls.
